Day 7 Friday 5/16 - Today is a cleanse day. And I have to do some house calls. Took the Cleanse for Life drink and an accelerator capsule in the morning, along with the Ionix Supreme as outlined on the schedule. And 16 ounces of water. Made sure I have extra water in the car and packed my snacks and almonds in a zip top baggie along with my checksheet. I tried on my anniversary ring and it wasn't tight - my hands aren't swollen even though it is 70 degrees outside...think I'll wear it today. RPM asked if I was on shakes or cleanse tomorrow (Saturday). Told him I'm on shakes and so he said he'd grill a steak for dinner tomorrow. He's on his own for dinner tonight since I'm cleansing.
Saw my clients, stayed on diet schedule and am not having any disruption to my day. Finished my other 2 Cleanse for Life drinks and settle in for the evening watching TV. Final cleanse drink is at 8pm. Fit them all in today.
Day 8 Saturday 5/17 - Shake day. RPM says I look thinner through the middle and my jeans are getting loose through the hip and thigh (and they aren't my fat jeans!) Made a Strawberry Mango smoothie for breakfast and another for lunch using the IsaLean Shake Mix. Then went to my additional continuing class in Taoist Tai Chi (I'm attending 2 classes a week whenever possible) Taoist Tai Chi is a non martial arts form of Taijiquan and is a wonderful type of exercise designed to help with health and fitness. It has helped my balance immensely, not to mention, it's fun!
BTW, you can learn more about this form or Tai Chi at http://www.taoist.org/. Joel Gottleib has a great blog on Taoist Tai Chi and MS http://mstaichi.blogspot.com/ He has had a rough time of it lately and I wish him well in his challenges with MS.
After class, I visit a friend who raises horses and then head home to a steak dinner - yes, 400-600 calories...yesss, I'm being a good girl.
Day 9 Sunday - Last cleanse day - hooray - I'm starting to feel hungry so I'm munching my daily allotment of snacks and almonds in between the cleanse drink. Can't believe I'm looking forward to a shake day tomorrow. And my weigh in and measurements. RPM says my pants look downright loose!
My hounds are bred out of the Spartan kind: So flewed, so sanded, and their heads are hung With ears that sweep away the morning dew; Crook-kneed, and dewlapped like Thessalian bulls; Slow in pursuit, but matched in mouth like bells, Each under each. - Wm Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Theseus at IV, i)
